How to convert Blu-ray movies to Xvid?

Nowadays, more and more high-definition videos are overflowing in our life and Blu-ray has occupied more and more market for its greater storage capacity, faster reading and writing speed, and safer data storage funtion. At the same time, another problem makes many people annoyed, that is how to watch Blu-ray movies on iPad, iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Xbox, Nexus One, BlackBerry, Archos, Zune, Zen and more. Do not worry. The guide will show you an easy solution to rip and convert Blu-ray to Xvid format compatible to most of media players.


First of all, please download this Blu-ray Ripper tool here, install and run it.


Step 1: Load your Blu-ray files into this program via your Blu-ray drive.
Three ways to get it: “DVD Rom”, “DVD Folder” or “IFO/ISO


Step 2: Select Xvid as output format and specify save-path location


Hint: It allows to select the output format more easier and faster by selecting your media device name, as well as switch view modes for your reference and define your desired output files.


Step 3: Select subtitle and audio track language
From “Subtitle” and “Audio”, you can easily choose the language of subtitle and audio track you like.


Step 4: Set audio and video parameters


Click “Settings”, you will see the profile as above which makes it possible to adjust A/V parameters, like bit rate, frame rate, file size, codec, channels, sample, etc. Resolution and aspect of ratio adjustment is also supported.


Step 5: Edit your video files
Click “Edit”, the edit panel will pop up. Beneath it, you can crop, trim videos, add watermarks/special effects, replace audio, remove interlace and video noises and more, even you can use the “Apply to All” option to apply your settings to all videos.


Step 6: “Convert” to start Blu-ray to Xvid ripping
If you want to join or combine multiple video clips into one file, please remember to tick “Merge into one file” next to “Convert”.

Once all the settings are finished, you will get the Xvid files in your destination folder.
