How to Download CNN videos for DVD

Many things happened around the world everyday, all of the latest information we can learn from CNN, and it provides many videos about these things. It is very interesting to collect these videos on DVD and enjoy them on TV. The following steps will show you how.

The programs required:

Moyea FLV Downloader – It is a free and easy-to-use program that can download FLV under IE, Firefox, and Maxthon.

Moyea FLV to Video Converter – It is a batch converter that can convert FLV to both NTSC DVD and PAL DVD with good quality.

Initiate the two programs. They will work together closely. Then open Moyea FLV Downloader and send it to the system tray by clicking the Minimize button. Now open the CNN webpage with video in your browser.

If you are using IE, move your mouse over the video, the “GetIt” button will pop up as you can see in the above screenshot. Click the button and select “Get FLV Video” in the drop-down menu. The webpage will be automatically redirected in the Grab Video window. You can also simply click “Show Browser” and copy the URL to the Grab Video window and press “Go”.

The program will parse the data stream to get the video information when it begins to play. Check the URL box in the FLV URL list and press “Download” to go to the New dialog.

Then you can rename the Flash Video in the File Name area and select a folder to save the video by using the “Browser” button. For converting FLV to DVD, check the “Convert to …” box and select “DVD” in the Profile drop-down menu. You can also change the destination folder by clicking the folder icon. After that, press “Save As Default” to save the settings and click “Add” to download. The downloading process is very quickly and you can also open new web pages to download more.

When the Flash Video is downloaded, it will be converted to DVD automatically. You can also choose not to check the “Convert to …” box, use Moyea FLV to Video Converter independently.

Finally, check the converted file in your computer and burn it to DVD with Nero. As you can see, recording all of the important things around the world on DVD is just so easy, do it yourself.
