Q1: How to remove your company logo "Pavtube" from my output video file?
A: Our trial version has a limitation to export video with a watermark. If you don't like it and hope to get rid of it, please purchase the full version and re-rip the DVD files.

Q2: What's the difference between the trial version and the full version of Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper for Mac?
A: Both has the same functions, and the only difference is the company logo "Pavtube" will show up in the middle of the ripped DVD files by using the trial version. To avoid the problem, you should purchase the full version and re-rip the DVDs.

Q3: What's the differences between Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper for Mac and Pavtube DVD Ripper for Mac?
A: The Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper for Mac contains all the functions of the DVD Ripper for Mac. And the Blu-ray Ripper for Mac adds more functions. With the Mac Blu-ray Ripper, you can also rip/edit Blu-ray disc, Blu-ray folders and Blu-ray ISO files to other popular video/audio formats with ease.

Q4: There is no response of your software after I inserted my Blu-ray disc into my computer's hard drive. What's the matter?
A: Please make sure you are using an external Blu-ray drive. Actually the computer's own drive can't read Blu-ray discs. Just connect the external Blu-ray drive with your computer and insert your Blu-ray disc into the drive. Then it will be okay.

Q5: There is no place to enter the key code to my purchased Blu-ray Ripper for Mac. What's wrong?
A: In face, the key code is invaid for the trial version. Please first install the software from your Mac machine and then download the full version for have a try by signing in the page:

Q6: What're the differences between the Full Disc Copy and the Directly Copy of your program?
A: The Full Disc Copy function helps you make a full disc copy (1:1) of your Blu-ray or DVD discs with its original structures on your Mac. The Directly Copy function helps you copy the main movie or the wanted chapters/titles for backup. Note: Only in the File Mode you are able to use the Directly Copy function.

Q7: How long will it take to make a full disc copy from Blu-ray or DVD disc?
A: About 10 minutes. With the Blu-ray ripper for mac, you just need about 10 minutes to copy your full disc movie files with its original structures.

Q8: Could I choose the language of subtitle and audio track as I wish?
A: Yes. You can easily select the wanted language from the "Subtitle" and "Audio" options. And you can also choose forced subtitle language from your Blu-ray or DVD movie files.

Q9: Does the Mac Blu-ray Ripper support transcoding Blu-ray .m2ts to Apple ProRes format for FCP?
A: Yes. The program supports Apple ProRes and Apple Intermediate Codec encoding, which help you quickly convert Blu-ray .m2ts to Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes 4444 or Apple Intermediate Codec formats for FCP, FCE, iMovie.
(1) For Final Cut Pro 6, 7 or higer, the Apple ProRes formats are recommended here.
***To keep a nice balance between image quality and file size, you'd better choose Apple ProRes 422 (LT) (*.mov) format.
***To edit video offline with Final Cut Server, you should choose Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) (*.mov) format.
***To retain the maximum possible quality of video files for editing, you could choose Apple ProRes 4444 (*.mov) format.
(2) For Final Cut Pro 5, 4 or lower and Final Cut Express, iMovie, the Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) format is recommended here.

Q10: I output my Blu-ray file to Apple ProRes 422 format with the Blu-ray Ripper for Mac. But there is no video but audio when playing. Why?
A: Transcoding Blu-ray .m2ts to ProRes is limited to the Mac OS having certain software installed.
This includes one of the following:
*Final Cut Pro
*Final Cut Server
*Logic Pro
*Compressor
These applications install the proper ProRes component, which is need for ProRes encoding. So, you can't transcode Blu-ray to ProRes without installing one of the four apps.

Q11: How to join several Blu-ray chapters or titles into a large one?
A: First highlight the chapters or titles you want to combine and then check "Merge into one file" before the Blu-ray ripping.

Q12: How to cut off black bars from my Blu-ray or DVD movie files?
A: Specify the Blu-ray or DVD file you want to crop and then click on the Edit icon. Then you will see the "Crop" option which supports three method to help you crop video file as you like.
